there's your doppleganger

upon kirk's discovery of yesterday's post, we set out on a quest to show you how similar they really look. after a mild photo shoot and brief lunch, this is what we came up with.

what's amazing is all i had to do was mess with the shadows and lighting. we could have gotten the skin tones a lot closer, but it would have started looking pretty stylized and not very authentic.

still though, pretty uncanny. when he first took a look at this picture of elijah wood, he was actually kind of freaked out. since i've known kirk kinsey, we've made fun of him for looking like good ole' Frodo Baggins, and now he somewhat agrees. (especially because this photo comparison was his idea.

so, because i worked on this so much this afternoon, i was close to being late for work (but wasn't) and never got to eat. now i'm hoping that kirk and kevin will come by with some food for me, who knows how that's going to go.

in yesterday's post i said that i'd fill you in on what happened last night. well, after only getting 1 hour of sleep the night before, and going to work and the movie shoot, etc., i was in no shape for hockey. actually, i was in no shape for anything. i was taking a dirty plate from my room to the kitchen and wound up passing out face down on the love sac before i even reached the dining room... plate in hand. wonderful eh? by the time i came to, it was already 10 o'clock, at which point i was badgered with facebook messages and texts to play speed scrabble, where i kicked some tail (that's right... v-a-s-c-u-l-a-r). actually, i only won one game, but still, the smoothie was worth it.
